Created in January 2023, Bichette's boutique is the result of a change in personal and professional life. I wanted to share my creations, my desires, my universe with as many people as possible. This shop is the result of several months of work, reflections, researches and doubts. It's time now to have fun and have funand pleasure.​

Why "La boutique de Bichette"?

​

When choosing a name for my business, I must have written about twenty ideas on scattered pieces of paper. The family's feedback was: "too original", "not original enough", "common, banal", "already seen/heard"... Then one day, the idea was unanimous. For me, Bichette is not just a fad or a word seen on a mug or a t-shirt. For me, it's the affectionate nickname that my husband gives me like my darling, heart, love, baby... This nickname of Bichette has its origins even before we were a couple and it has remained since. I'm mainly Bichette then Mémère when I'm "going old" or Mauricette when I forget something. The name of my company therefore has a very special meaning for me because it is rooted in the love of my husband. 

You can therefore call me Justine and leave the privilege of using this nickname to my husband. 😉

PS: We couldn't use the cat's name because it's the same as a famous brand of soda.

What can you find in La boutique de Bichette?

​

The items for sale have different origins.The first comes from my own production of resin objects or even upcycling* (and soon in sewing 🤞). For the rest, I favor French producers and craftsmen, handmade and natural. All the articles that you will see on this site are above all articles that I like. This is why I select my catalog of suppliers with the greatest possible care. As for the stock, it remains very limited because I currently do not have enough space and many products are unique pieces or in very limited stock. For my creations, they come and go according to my ideas of the day, my finds and the budget hence the unique pieces. For upcycling, it is mainly in flea markets or garage sales and in Emmaüs communities that I look for rare pearls.
